About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Andaliman: International Journal of Social Sciences publishes empirically grounded and theoretically informed scholarship across sociology, anthropology, political science, economics, public policy, education, communication, development studies, gender studies, law and society, environmental and sustainability studies, digital society, public health, migration, inequality, and governance. We welcome quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research; comparative and cross-national analyses; methodological and theoretical contributions; systematic reviews and meta-analyses; and policy-relevant studies that bridge research and practice. Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and clear scholarly contribution, with relevance to diverse global contexts, including—but not limited to—Southeast Asia and the broader Global South.
